My research starts here - in my home, in my living room. What do I own, possess, (spelling - looks funny, lots of s's???) that connects me to the story in my head, the story with a Gustavian subplot, or twist? Hah, how pretentious.

I don't even know for sure what the Gustavian time is or means. I don't even know enough about the time I am living in at the moment...Not enough for me to reflect upon, that is. Keep it simple. Simple plot, complex characters. Not simple work, complex writer

This is all I have at the moment:

A huge ugly painting with a golden frame. Gustavian? Could be - probably isn't.

A small hand mirrror

My Philippe Starck chairs - Louis Ghost (wrong king though.)

Classical music...on cd.

My desk

I am heading to my parents' tomorrow to see what I can find. This is fun!
