Another kidnapped child, ruthless abductors, an eight year old kidnapping and murder case and one satisfied spirit.

EPISODE THREE OF A TRILOGY

SYNOPSIS

In Atlanta there's another kidnapped child before Destiny's Desire even hits town. This time, however, it's a girl, and our team of super-sleuths go into overdrive. The use of an Atlanta detective to assist them on the case adds a new twist, as the girls have to erase his memory of them once the case is solved, as well as anyone else who's involved, including the abductors.

Finally returning home, to the New England area, it's time for the girls of D & D to turn their attention towards Destiny's true desire and that is finding those responsible for her brother's kidnapping, molestation, and murder when she was only nine years old. Unorthodox detective work sets the stage for D & D to get a confession by the man who nabbed Josh Masters eight years previous, and in that confession he fingers the man who actually killed the young boy.

Now that Destiny's spirit has been satisfied, it's time to remove the powers that her elite team was given, allowing them to be the teen-aged girls they really are. She plans the removal of their powers for New Year's Eve.

                                                                          EXCERPT

The girls of D & D step out of the elevator and Christine runs over to them while Lori walks slowly. Christine runs straight to Wendy and gives her a big hug as she reaches her.

Tears form in the corners of Christine’s eyes.

CHRISTINE I don’t believe I’m actually getting to see D & D this close.

Danielle looks that Christine’s friend. Lori’s long red hair almost matches her own and she goes over to the girl.

DANIELLE       (to Lori) Hi! I’m Danielle, the lead guitarist for D & D.

LORI       (discernibly        withdrawn) Hi, Danielle. I’m Lori Kilmer.

DANIELLE Girls! Come over and introduce yourselves to Lori. I’ll be right back.

While the other three girls introduce themselves, Danielle heads to the front desk.

MELENA       (looking up) Hi, Danielle.

Danielle’s hands grip the counter.

DANIELLE Is Lori the sister of that missing girl?

MELENA       (Looking perplexed) Yes she is. Is that a problem?

DANIELLE No, not at all, but I’m glad we know.

MELENA She’s Christine’s friend and we both thought Lori could use a break from what’s happening at home.

DANIELLE You’re right, she sure can, and thank you.

Danielle returns to the group.

DANA Where are we going to eat tonight?

DANIELLE Seeing as we’re strangers in this city, and we have two lovely young guests to show us around, why don’t we let them choose?

Christine stands beside her friend.

CHRISTINE I asked Lori to come tonight because she’s such a nice friend. Her little sister has been missing for a while and I’d like her to choose where she’d like to eat.

Wendy Puts her hands on Christine’s shoulder.

WENDY That was very polite and considerate of you, Christine.

Danielle places her hand on Lori’s shoulder.

DANIELLE Is there any place special you’d like to go with us for dinner, Lori?

A slight SMILE appears on Lori’s face.

LORI Well there’s Kelliher’s, on the North Side. They have some great seafood and you don’t have to be all dressed up to go and eat there.

DANIELLE Then we’ll get the hotel van and have the driver take us there. I’ll be right back.

Danielle returns to the front desk. When she returns to the group they all head to the foyer and wait for the hotel van to come around front for them.

CUT TO:

INT. MARRIOTT HOTEL – SUITE 1624 - DAY

The girls all grab a seat as they enter the sitting room.

DANA Now what are we going to do?

Danielle gets up and steps to the center of the room.

DANIELLE Okay, Destiny, show yourself, please!

Destiny’s molecular spirit materializes from the darkened television screen and forms itself into the girl’s image they are familiar with.

DESTINY You showed those girls a good time tonight, and it’s obvious Lori was coming out of her shell. Do you have Janine’s picture?

Danielle reaches into her purse and pulls out the snapshot.

DANIELLE Can you use it?

Destiny floats off the floor and her spirit turns to face Danielle.

DESTINY Put Janine’s picture near where my heart should be Danielle.

Danielle looks quickly at the young girl’s picture and then goes over to Destiny. With the picture facing Destiny’s form, she places it against that part of her misty body where her heart should be. She holds it there.

DESTINY Remove your hand.

Danielle removes her right hand and watches as the picture stays where she left it, suspended in air and surrounded by sparkling molecules. The picture becomes aglow a bright yellow.

DESTINY She’s alive. Janine Kilmer is alive.

DANIELLE What else can you tell us?

DESTINY I see a FARMHOUSE and a WATER SILO in the vicinity.

DANIELLE Oh my God, Destiny, and were here in the south. Is there anything else?

DESTINY Janine is locked in a cellar. It appears they haven’t hurt her, but there are two men and they both have weapons. One of the men has a tattoo of a SNAKE that extends up the length of his arm. That’s all I can see. Take the picture, Danielle.

Danielle approaches Destiny and grabs a hold of Janine’s picture, Destiny’s form dissipates back into the television.

LOGLINE

A rock band rises to fame and their members receive supernatural powers. They seek out a kidnapped child, capture his abductors, hand them over to the police and remain anonymous.

EPISODE TWO of THREE - A TRILOGY

SYNOPSIS

At the Battle of the Bands, Destiny's Desire makes it to the top of the leader board, allowing them to make it to round two, the final round. Nine other bands make it to round two, including JB & the Tucks. After JB's perfomance, during the second round of competition, he was informed that his son was kidnapped earlier that day. That announcement forced JB to withdraw from further competition as they were tied with Destiny's Desire for top honors. Destiny's Desire refuses to accept a win by default,

Destiny's Desire receives the rest of their powers. After returning home to perfect these new additions to their arsenaal of unconventional weapons, they head to Albany to try and locate JB's son, capture his abductors, and at the same time staying out of the limelight. The secret to their success is being able to remain incognito. With Destiny's help, the four girls locate the hideout of Jeremy's abductors. Using the powers Destiny gave them, as well as their youthful agility, D & D captures the abductors, release Jeremy, return him to the police, and remain anonymous.

WENDY          Have you looked at the songs yet,          Danielle? I see the folders there          on the table.

DANIELLE I was going to do that when I came into the kitchen, not expecting to see my mom home. I ended up talking to her, ever since I got down here. Now we all can look at them.

Danielle reaches for the pack of folders.

LISA What are the titles of the songs?

Danielle grabs the first two folders and looks at the name on the outer tabs.

DANIELLE Let’s see! This one is called Reaching For Stardom. The second one is, Reality has eyes.

Danielle looks at the title of the third song and abruptly stops. Her eyes open wide and a moment later she checks the last one. Wendy sees the unusual expression on her friend’s face.

WENDY What’s wrong, Danielle?

Danielle’s voice sounds deathly serious.

DANIELLE Oh my God, Wendy. I just saw the titles of these last two songs.

LISA Don’t keep us in suspense, girl. What are they?

DANIELLE The third one is called Angel of Desire and the last one, get this, The Four Walls of Destiny.

LISA       (simultaneously        with WENDY) Oh wow!

DANIELLE This is freaky!

LISA No kidding!

WENDY Well we know two of the songs we won’t be singing, but I wonder if Destiny has anything to do with this.

DANIELLE Get real, girl! This is all her.

WENDY Then why are there four songs when we need only one?

DANIELLE For one thing, Bill asked her for four songs, but maybe she just wants to let us choose for ourselves. She did say once she wants us to be challenged.

Judy returns to the kitchen.

JUDY How are you young ladies doing this morning?

Danielle turns to face her mother.

DANIELLE This whole thing gets freakier by the day, mom.

Judy stands in the doorway.

JUDY In what way, dear?

DANIELLE You know that the name of our band is Destiny’s Desire, right?

JUDY Yes, and...?

Danielle hands her mother two folders.

DANIELLE Take a look at the titles of these two songs.

Judy takes the two folders and looks at the titles.

JUDY Whoever this Destiny is, she puts on quite a show for herself. This is almost scary.

DANIELLE Our sentiments exactly!

Front DOORBELL RINGS and is heard in the kitchen.

Wendy stands up.

WENDY That must be Dana. I’ll get it.

WENDY HEADS TO THE FRONT DOOR

Wendy opens the door.

WENDY Good morning, girl! We’re all in the kitchen and do we have a shocker for you.

Dana enters the house.

DANA After what we saw yesterday, I doubt anything could shock me any more, but I’m game.

Dana follows Wendy down the hall and into the Kitchen.

A restless spirit of a teenaged girl, revenge for her brother's kidnapping, molestation, and murder, and an unlikely team of female super-sleuths, under the guise of an all-female rock band, combine their efforts to find kidnapped children and subdue their abductors.
