A Little about me

I am 60 years old and live on Boston's North Shore in Massachusetts.

I've been writing since the early 1980's having no experience whatsoever with writing.

I started writing as a favor for a fellow worker in a machine shop.  He had 750 written pages of text that he wanted to have put onto paper.  This was back before PC's became a household name, so it meant reamsof paper and many typewriter ribbons and correction tape.

Well after two years and nine rewrites that I remember, not to mention the 12 reams of typing paper etc. that was used, I couldn't find my friend anywhere.  I'd left the job where we both worked, but either way he dropped off the face of the earth and couldn't be found.  After eight years, I trashed the manuscript I'd worked on for two years, and it was then at 1500 ds typewriten pages, so I dare not guess the word count.  I refused to steal someone else's work, even though the majority ofitwas done by me.

It was during this interim that I became interested in writing for myself.  I started off with something I knew and worked up from there.  Overturned was writen in 1993, and rewriten at least 10 times before being published in 2004   In 2001 I published Destiny of the Divas and in 2003 I published its sequel, Destiny of the Divas II - Angel of Mercy.  Late in 2004 I wrote and published my only sci-fi story KASHMANTOU.  In 2005 I published Mountain of Love. 

In November of 2005 I was involved with NaNoWriMo (National November Writing Month, where writers from all over the world tried to write, from scratch, a 50,000 word novel or more in 30 days or less.  I accomplished the 50,000 goal on day 10 with a total of 52,012 words and by day 22 I had 65,000 words to finish the story.  Well I started editing it before the end of November, and by late December "Let Freedom Ring" was published.

Early in 2006 I decided to try my hand at writing screenplays. Once again I was getting my feet wet in territories I knew nothing about, so I did some serious research, online, and found http://www.screenwritersutopia.com  - a forum for screenwriters, and I asked a lot of questions.  Fortunately I got a lot of helpful answers. Somewhere along the line I found http://www.scriptbuddy.com  and registered to try using their format for writing a screenplay.  Well I loved the site so much that I paid for three months and now have eight screenplays completed, and another one being worked on.

Someone sent me an e-mail about Scriptologist.com, and here I am.
