                                                             DESTINY'S DIVAS

                                                                   Episode One

LOGLINE

A restless spirit of a teenaged girl, revenge for her brother's kidnapping, molestation, and murder, and an unlikely team of female super-sleuths, under the guise of an all-female rock band, combine their efforts to find kidnapped children and subdue their abductors.

SYNOPSIS

In Episode One - Destiny Masters dies. Her restless spirit won't rest until those responsible for her brother's kidnapping, molestation, and death, are captured and behind bars.

Upon her death by a lightning bolt, Destiny received supernatural powers, but powers she could not use herself, when it came to finding her brother's killers. She finds, however, that she can transfer these powers to others, so she picks her elite team of super-sleuths carefully, giving them just enough of a woman's curiosity to ascertain their desire to be a part of this elite band and group.

Danielle Dee - a seventeen year old red-head, never held a guitar before Destiny entered her life. Now she's being asked to be the lead guitarist and leader of

Destiny's elite band, Destiny's Desire.

Dana Kay - another seventeen year old, never sang before, outside of her bathroom, and through Destiny she now has the voice of an angel.

Lisa Mack - a third seventeen year old, has played the bass guitar as a sophmore in high school, but never to the level of a rock star. With Destiny's help she's a master on the bass and doesn't miss a beat.

Wendy Parks, the only eighteen year old, has been to many rock concerts with her brother, at the Boston Garden, but she'd never sat behind a set of drums before Destiny came to her in a dream. With Destiny's assist she has the fastest hands on the toms.

With her band Destiny's Desire all together, it's time for Destiny to inform her elite group what their instruments can do, other than for the purpose for which they were designed. It's also a time for them to know what Destiny's Desire stands for, and what their role will be.

FADE IN:

EXT. BALLPARK - MAY 14TH 1983 - DAY

A MAN IN HIS THIRTIES - sitting on the bottom row of
bleachers with a child’s baseball glove beside him.

A WHITE FORD VAN sits beside the park, against the curb,
running, with the side door open and the driver behind the
wheel.

a seven-year-old returns to the park to find his glove and
heads to the bleachers. Seeing a man in the bottom row, he
stops.

                       JOSH
Hey mister! Did ya see a ball
glove laying around? When I left
with my friends I forgot to take
it with me.

The man looks at the boy, grabs the glove beside him and
shows it to him.

                       A MAN
      (smiling)
You mean this one?

                       JOSH
Yeah, that’s it! Thanks!

The man stands and places his hand on the boy’s shoulders.

                       A MAN
Hey, no problem, kid. I’m leaving
anyway so I’ll walk to the van
with you.

They approach the van and the man looks around. He reaches
down and scoops the boy up in his arms and shoves him inside
the van, slamming the door shut behind him.

The van pulls away from the curb with wheels screeching and
Josh screaming in the back, while the man holds him down.

Hartford Courant - Daily Newspaper

THE BODY OF JOSH MASTERS FOUND SLAIN

At seven-forty, on Tuesday evening, may 16th, 1983, the
bruised and battered body of seven-year-old Josh Masters was
found on the side of the road near New Haven on interstate
84, by the driver of a disabled vehicle. His CB radio call
brought the State Police to the scene within minutes. The
boy has been missing since Sunday, April 30th, when he
returned to the Elm Street Park to retrieve a baseball glove
he’d left behind, and he hasn’t been heard from since. It’s
not known, at this time, if the boy has been sexually
molested, or not, and a full autopsy is scheduled to be
performed, later today, by the Hartford Police Department.
The exact cause of death is not known. Several suspects
have been brought in for questioning and were released. The
boy’s parents and sister have been ruled out as suspects in
Josh’s disappearance.
