Logline

Saving a little girl from the waters of a frozen lake and getting then into a coma, the film character, a well known actor, experiences in his imagination two parallel actions of his subconscious mind.

He is partly the film and the theatre actor, desperately trying to discover who stole his looks and identity, in order to play a role in a film, and partly, he is the character of that film, violent, behaving according to his atavistic instincts.

After a long period of being in a coma, time in which the actions of the two mental levels get into a ”dead end” situation (however, marked by essential revelations, since what else is a dream but the absolute intimacy of thoughts and conscience), even when it is decided to disconnect him from the machines that keep him alive, the little girl he saved from drowning sees a teardrop rolling on his face.

Johann Martin Honigberger (1795 - 1869) is a real character, and so are his journeys to Asia, where he practiced medicine and searched for a remedy against cholera. He became the court physician, chemist, director of the arsenal and admiral of the maharajah in Lahore. He knew the arts of levitation, invisibility; eventually he reached Chambala. He also knew love. The story  we are going  to see it  is  recall by Honigberger's spirit on the  top of  a  mountain, between  clouds,  to an Arabian thief who follows him in his last years of existence.

Anguished and frightened, Diana believes that the lady she saw dead in a toilet booth from a highway's resting area was the same person who was run over by a truck 20 minutes later, because both had a ring with a strange symbol (a dolphin inside a pentagon). The policemen were very skeptical about her story, so she begins to investigate on her own; she does this with the help of David, who didn't happen to be on the highway by chance. In the end, David tells her the truth: he was involved in the blackmail scheme, along with the two women and the criminal, but not on commiting the murders.

Los policias fueron escepticos de su versión [version of the facts],  asi que ella empezo una investigacion por su cuenta, con la ayuda de David, que no estaba casualmente en esa autopista. Al final, David le dice la verdad: estuvo implicado en la operacion de chantaje, junto con las dos mujeres y el criminal, pero no en cometer los asesinatos.
