2007-Jun-3 - film festivals
Is there anyone out there whose film is doing the rounds on the independent film festival circuit? Everytime I open my inbox I'm inundated with deadlines for art house and other international film festivals.....the whole scene appears amazingly energetic!
I'm not too sure how lucrative they are, I do know from experience that music content never gets a proper budget allocation at art festivals. However, it seems to me that if you're tapped into a good distribution network that focusses on the art house market, then it could be a winner..... with the proviso that the content of the film captured the hearts and minds.

As a gringo, I have my own personal view of this city, Sure enough it's an amazing place but if it not for the violence and the daily cycle of muggings, car jackings, drug wars and corruption, who could ever afford the price of the real estate to live in such sumptuous surroundings!
