New script
| I am hoping to start a new script soon. I am in the process of getting all my P's and Q's in order. I am shooting for a family script this time. You knwo something I can let my girls watch with me. This one is going to be centered around Soccer, which is about the only thing my girls have in common these days. Plus I know more about it that any other sport. I have coached and I am currently on the board so I have access to a lot of information. But never enough... Hope to get started doing some actual writing within the next week. I make lots of notes and ideas before I get started. This time I think I will forgo the the task of handwriting the whole thing out first. Looking for help and always up for ideas. I'll keep in touch!!!! |

The Screenplay Agency
| Ok, I got my answer back and it is a go. However after looking up lots of information on this company it seems to me they are a scam. I don't have a lot of money to keep sending these people for hundreds of different repeats. Does any have any personal expereince with this agency? And if they are are scamming people maybe someone should tell the big man in charge here because that is going to be bad for his site. I mean I thought they were legit, because maybe not. Bd words spreads faster than good and I would want my site to have any dealings with a company that takes advantage of people I was suppose to be helping. |

Made some kind of contact
| Ok, so we'll see how good they really are. I took a chance and used THE Screenplay Agency, which is advertised on his site, so if they screw me over than Scriptologist.com will be the first to know if something is fishy. I'll keep you posted and let you know how things go. |

Worked today
| I actually started working on my script again today. The odd things is it was much easier with the girls sittingbeside me playing than me sitting alone by myself. Didn't get a whole lot done, just two pages or so, but it was on akey scene that's been sitting there collecting dust for 5 months. So 2 is better than none. Hope to do it again tomorrow. Now I hust need to get it done, proofed, sent into a few contest, and hopefullyget an agent...wish upon wish!!!! |

Need a boost!!!!!!!
| I am in need of a serious boost. I have this script that is completed, but not. I have a friend helping me with a song for it, but where my problem lies is I need to dig more into the "bands" ups and downs, There in lies my priblem. I know nothign about bands. I am blending two different genres, Country and Altertative. The leader singer is alternative, and the rest are country. I don't know what some of the problems they would incounter would be or how to even write it. I know what I want them to do and how to fail a few times, but ARGHHHH!!!!! I also need to expand it by 20 or so pages. I think overall it's pretty good. I have someone helping with with proofing, reading, and rewrite of what I have. He just wants something new, and well that was 4 months ago. Plus to be honest my grandmother is on my ass. She's one of my biggest suppporters, and I'd really like to tell her I'm somewhere, anywhere. ANybody got anything, anything at all????? |

Fade in...
About me...I'm 33, divorced, with two girls 11 & 8. Right now I'm not working a full-time job. I am suppose to be working on my writing. Well that's not going as planned. I have hit another road block. To keep myself busy I book reviews for a woman. Actually me and my girls do reviews. I really enjoy it. I am currenlty trying to finish up my script. I have two short stories, one of which is published. Nothing huge just a local compnay through a contest, but it's published right.
When I'm not reading or writing I'm on myspace catching up with freinds from high school or talking on a fourem baord I spend way too much time on.
I would love to finish my script and get it looked at by some important people. I'd like to get my stories sent into some publishers, but that just me being a little lazy. Plus not sure about the whole query letter writing process. Need to work on that.
