The Screenplay Agency

Ok, I got my answer back and it is a go. However after looking up lots of information on this company it seems to me they are a scam. I don't have a lot of money to keep sending these people for hundreds of different repeats. Does any have any personal expereince with this agency? And if they are are scamming people maybe someone should tell the big man in charge here because that is going to be bad for his site. I mean I thought they were legit, because maybe not. Bd words spreads faster than good and I would want my site to have any dealings with a company that takes advantage of people I was suppose to be helping.

Hello Cristy,

I don't know much about this company The Screenplay Agency. Their ads are running through our Google Adsense account on the Scriptologist.com web site and the Scriptologist Blogs network.

We don't have much control over the different companies that advertise through the Google Adwords network. I would appreciate it if you could give me some more information about The Screenplay Agency or any other company that seems illegitimate.

If I find out that a company advertising through adwords is scamming Scriptologist.com site visitors I will attempt to filter out their ads from our Google adsense account.

It's impossible for us to keep track of all the different companies that advertise through Google Adwords. Different ads run at different times and on many Scriptologist.com web pages.

Scriptologist.com doesn't endorse any of these companies or their Google ads. We would only be able to monitor companies that paid us directly to run their ads, and we're not currently selling ad space on our own.

Scriptologist.com does rely on Google ads for a percentage of our income. We need to run ads in order to offer our members many of the free content and services they enjoy. Scriptologist.com only makes money when a Web site visitor clicks on an ad. We don't make money when you buy a product or service from a Google Adwords client.

I would encourage everyone to be careful when you're paying for products or services from a company you don't know. Literary agencies and talent agencies should not be charging fees to represent you and reading fees can also be a scam.

We only endorse the products and services we sell ourselves and the products and services from our partners.
Google adwords clients are not our partners.

Scriptologist.com is interested in helping screenwriters, filmmakers, and actors, improve their skills and promote their talent.

I appreciate you bringing this to my attention.
I hope more people in this community will keep me informed about any companies engaged in illegitimate business practices.

I will also be adding a forum to the Scriptologist Message board on scam companies. http://scriptologist.com/phpBB2/index.php

The Screenplay Agency

What scumbags - what a joke - what a huge scam. Is there no comeback and no redresss? Just because they don't really exist, and their emails are a bag of lies, does it mean there is nothing which can be done to expose them for the fraudsters that they are?

The Screenplay Agency

The Screenplay Agency is nothing more than The New York Literary Agency, with the same acquisitions layperson.

I had to fire New York Literary Agency, for one of my books, for a lack of communication with me. Before I signed with them, thewy wrote me every week. After I signed with them, I never heard from them for up to six months.

Enough was enough and I gave them the heave ho. The Screenplay Agency is from this same literary group, so I advise you leave them.

Never made contact

After doing a lot of research on them before I signed anything. I realized it was a scam and never even made future contact with them.
