From 4th Augost, 2007 at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Scriptwriters from all over the country were given training on how to write a script professionally fo almost 8 weeks.

The training was conducted by Dot 5 Entertainments Ltd under sponsorship of ITV & Radio One, the leading media house in the country.

More than 40 scriptwriters including Amri Bawji, one of the M-net scriptwriting competition winner attended the training under the trainer Richard Ndunguru.

Now, we are waiting to see products!

   We, Tanzanians have a wide opportunity to leed other African countries in film making. But no one outside the country knows our strength. And in actual fact we are mostly producing very poor films.

   We have talented script writers, directors, cinematographers as well as actors. In other hand we have people who got veriety professions in the film making. We also have best natural locations, like mount Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro crator, several national parks etc. And so many angles for creating stories.

   Selfishness is letting us down.
