sent off a logline

Posted at 07:34, 2006-Jun-17

I found this site through a search after search after search, can't remember honestly how I got there, but they seem pretty cool.

www.thescreenplayagency.com

they've got an online submission of a logline and say that they're actively looking for new talent, if anyone wants to take advantage of it! I sent my logline in on Friday, so I'll keep y'all posted on how long it takes them to respond, if you prefer me to be the guinea pig. and if anyone's interested, my logline is:

From the Ashes: An eclectic group of people struggle to keep what’s left of their colony alive and running. Leading them is a woman beset by her divided sisters and the need to protect her people. Who knew that raising two sisters would prepare her for saving the world?

all thoughts and suggestions on the logline are welcome, even if it's after the fact because there's always next time!

Hello!

Just discovered this site and thought I would join. Not that I don't already have an lj of my own, but hey. You can never have too many, right?

As for me, I'm working on getting my foot in the door for television writing. I don't know how many people around here go for that, as opposed to features, but that's what I'm going to do. I've got spec scripts ready to go and am always working on more. I also have some features, of course, all scifi or action scripts.

My strength is dialogue, and I'm a very good reader, if anyone wants me to take a look. I review now and again on zoetrope.com.

Alas, time to go to work so I can pay the bills. le sigh.
