A New Christian Film Production About To Start

Executives of Star Visionary Industry and The Beloved are heightening preparations ahead of a joint production of a Christian movie. They are currently studying stories for an eventual production by March 2009. Criteria for adoption of a script is that the story most aim at educating the moral. Both industries want to use this medium to eradicate societal ills in Cameroon. To them, the production of educative stories that have to do with everyday life issues, will help reduce the rate of some ills such as: corruption, homosexuality, fraud, amongst others. About five stories are currently under study. The Chief Executive Officer of Star Visionary Industry, Dickson NJOKE says his company intends to release at least five movies this year. The Beloved will from february 12 to 15, 2009, organise a seminar to enhance the skills of local actors. The seminar will record the participation of lecturers, film makers from Star Visionary Industry and The Beloved. Dickson NJOKE, popularly known as Prince NJOKE is a multi-talented Cameroonian. A devoted christian and sixth from a family of seven. Prince NJOKE hails from Maumu village within Buea subdivision from the South West Region of Cameroon, Africa. He was employed by Radio Bonne Nouvelle, a Cameroon base FM radio station at the age of 19 as a journalist. Before quiting this radio in 2005 (three years after), Prince NJOKE was occupying the post of the Editor-in-Chief for the English desk. He left to pursue his vision in cinematography which he started in 2004, with the creation of Star Visionary Industry, his film production company. He committed himself fully in 2005 with the production unite of a Douala base international TV channel where he started producing and directing teleplays done by his team of actors. Beside this, Prince NJOKE was Managing Editor of The Beloved Herald newspaper. Mr. Dickson NJOKE was later employed as Project Coordinator of C.I.A.P and then later made Commercial Manager of the same company. Few months later, that is in 2008, he was employed Station Manager of Eternity Gospel Radio. He is in the pre-production phase of a thrilling movie. He does not only direct but writes stories as well as screenplays. He has promised to make himself a reference by the grace of God. Dickson NJOKE loves watching movies (especially Nigerian movies). He spends most of his time on navigating the internet in search of knowledge and news.

I had always loved to be part of the great film industry. I am glad to have discovered this website in my quest for knowledge in film making. In 2004 while working as a journalist for a local radio station in my country, Cameroon, I decided to set up a a film production company that i named "Star Visionary Industry." Things were not easy because of lack of adequate knowledge and financing. Thanks to God, I started recieving online courses from wikiversity film school and I joint a local TV production team. Presently I am formating a screenplay of a movie that I intend to do in March 2009. It is a narrative film. I will appreciate you advice. |
